Which Grade is Right for You?
You may have seen we're offering a new Grade (thickness) and been wondering 'what should I use?' We're here to help explain the differences. Grade 12 is for your common horizontal projects. It's durable, has higher impact-resistance and is ideal for a variety of applications (countertops, tabletops, etc.). Grade 20 is thinner, designed for vertical projects like backsplashes, cabinet doors and walls. It has lower impact-resistance, making it ideal for surfaces that don't see a lot of daily wear and tear.
Long story short: Grade 12 is our recommendation for DIY projects.
