Over 1,400 Formica® Laminate Doors Installed at the Norwegian Radium Hospital in Oslo
Nordic Door delivered over 1,400 doors featuring Formica® Laminate to the new clinic and proton beam therapy unit at the Norwegian Radium Hospital in Oslo, part of Oslo University Hospital. This specialised oncology hospital, which began construction in 2020, now spans 44,000 m² and includes wards, operating theatres, and outpatient clinics.
Seven selected decors from Formica® Doors Collection offer a versatile mix of wood finishes and contemporary colours. For example, F7603 Bio-Oak brings a natural, warm touch to the space, while F1998 Oslo and F7853 Ocean Grey offer sleek, modern laminate finishes suitable for high-traffic healthcare areas.
Formica Laminate's non-porous surface enhances the hygienic and easy-to-clean nature of the laminate doors, ensuring they maintain their appearance and functionality in busy medical settings. These features contribute to the hospital’s commitment to patient safety and well-being, with each door designed to withstand the demands of a busy medical environment.
